One North is a mixed-use office and retail development in North Portland that centers around a large shared courtyard. The project transforms a former industrial site into a creative workplace hub, with multiple buildings organized to encourage interaction between tenants and the surrounding neighborhood.

The architecture emphasizes sustainability and material warmth. A timber structural system, locally sourced wood cladding, and carefully shaped window openings help manage daylight and reduce energy use while giving the buildings a distinctive identity. The courtyard acts as the heart of the project, bringing light and air deep into the site and creating an active, communal outdoor space.

Overall, the design focuses on performance, durability, and creating a workplace environment that feels open, connected, and rooted in its context.
